Meet the TABLE: Integrating People Experiencing Homelessness into Programs and the Broader Community 

In July 2024, Zumbro Valley Medical Society (ZVMS) Street Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota cofounded the Team of Advisors Bringing Lived Experience (The TABLE), a 15-member collective of individuals who have been unhoused, that provides input on policies and programs and promotes community integration. The tagline of The TABLE states: “We didn't just want to be given a seat at the table. So, we went ahead and created The TABLE.” We meet weekly at an overnight shelter for internal planning or providing input to guests or clients.
