The Street Medicine Institute is pleased to announce a call for host cities for the 23rd annual International Street Medicine Symposium! The 23rd annual symposium will be held in September or October of 2027.

We seek inquiries from communities with a commitment to the vision and mission of the Street Medicine Institute and to individuals served through Street Medicine programs.

NOTE: For the 2027 symposium, SMI seeks inquiries from communities outside the United States.

Submitting an initial inquiry is the first step in applying to host ISMS. SMI staff will contact you to share more detail about the application process, discuss the responsibilities of each party, and provide the full host city application.

Please submit your inquiry as soon as possible, and no later than Friday, May 15, 2026 at 5 PM Pacific Time.
